Given that this page has moved around a bit: The question of whether names that end in "s" become Tarantulas' or Tarantulas's in the possessive form is actually a matter of some debate. (I am particularly amused by the style choice where it varies depending on whether it's the name of a Biblical figure or not.) I, personally, prefer the form Tarantulas'. For this Wiki, inasmuch as we need a policy, who don't we simply let personal preference decide? We allow British spelling when the contributor is British, so I think we can embrace some ambiguity here as well. JW 15:51, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

The link you provide seems to argue solidly for Tarantulas's lair. --ItsWalky 16:38, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
"If the singular possessive is difficult or awkward to pronounce with an added s sound, do not add an extra s." "There is often a policy of leaving off the additional s on any such name." Etc. JW 16:48, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
I have no problem or awkwardness pronouncing "Tarantulas's." --ItsWalky 16:50, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
