Transformers: Devastation

Still less dangerous than dropping a hair dryer in the water.

The Plasma Core was constructed long ago on Cybertron where it was forged from the Plasma Energy Chamber and later installed onboard Nova Prime's vessel, the Proudstar. Control over the Core was established by the Ferrotaxis supercomputer that managed the craft's systems. The ship later crashed on Earth millions of years ago and remain buried underneath the surface until the Great War between the Autobots and the Decepticons. Megatron uncovered the Proudstar and used its technology in an effort to cyberform Earth. This was achieved through the use of a swarm of Insecticons onboard the Proudstar that were powered by the Plasma Core to transform Earth. Optimus Prime led the Autobots in stopping the destruction of the planet, leading to the Core being damaged and at risk of detonation, which would destroy the planet. In an effort to repair it, Megatron had it taken back to Cybertron through the space bridge to have the leak patched. However, the incomplete repairs by the Constructicons caused it to once more go unstable after its re-installation on the Proudstar. This led to it rupturing, causing a gravitational singularity to start sucking in everything around it. The core was finally shut down after Optimus destroyed the Ferrotaxis. Devastation
