Generations Selects Special Comic
In 2011, Blast was part of the joint Autobot-Decepticon attempt to seal Unicron into the Triple Z Point. He got blasted by Unicron or his troops. Super Megatron comic 1 The Seeker continued to struggle with the others against the newly rebuilt Unicron till he witnessed Optimus Prime return with the Oracle and use the Angolmois being's gun mode to finally seal Unicron away. Notes
- Blast began life as a miscoloring of Thrust (coloring errors were very frequent in the Transformers cartoon). Recognizing this as an opportunity, Hayato Sakamoto decided to establish the miscoloring as a new character in his works, naming him "Blast"—a portmanteau of "Black Thrust" (ブラックスラスト Burakku Surasuto)—with his Twitter account.[1][2]
