Brainstorm is a jerk.
Synopsis
[edit]After the death of his partner, Rewind, Chromedome is dejected. His friend, Brainstorm, tries to convince him to meet new people, and after managing to convince him, sets him up with someone he knows. Sometime later, Chromedome meets up with the bot Brainstorm pointed him to, Eject...who is near-identical to Rewind aside from colors. After a period of silence, Chromedome mutters that he hates Brainstorm.

Notes
[edit]- Mentioned characters include: Rewind.
Continuity notes
[edit]- Unlike the majority of Recordicons strips, this installment takes place in an unspecified Generation 1 continuity, based on IDW Publishing's 2005 Generation 1 continuity, primarily that of the comic series More than Meets the Eye, where Chromedome and Rewind were lovers, and where Rewind was killed by Overlord in issue #15. It might be meant to be the same IDW-influenced continuity where Chromedome (in this body) and Rewind were seen in "Timeless".
Transformers references
[edit]- Chromedome and Eject are both in their Timelines Transformers Figure Subscription Service bodies. Brainstorm is in his Generations Thrilling 30 body.
