Notes
[edit]- This episode is the twelfth of Victory's many clip shows, the sixth of six released directly to home video, and the final episode of the entire series. It is essentially a retelling of the final narrative episode of the series, "Showdown! The Fortress vs the Victory Unification", but with clips from numerous other episodes interspersed throughout. Footage from "Attack! Leozack", "Jan - Defend the Campus!!", "The Terror of the Giant Tidal Waves" and "The Wrath of the Resurrected Giant Fortress!" all help to set the scene at the start, Jan recalls the events of "Move Out! Rescue Team" during the episode, and finally, "The Brave Hero of the Universe - Star Saber", "Sneak Attack! Dinoking" and "Unite!! Multiforce" contribute clips to close out the episode, along with another clip from "Attack! Leozack" of the bell in Jan's schooltower ringing to represent the titular "bell of love". There are even some new pieces of music not heard in the series before, mostly consisting of choral singing over "deep" emotional moments.
- Perhaps most significant, however, is the addition of several clips from The Headmasters and Super-God Masterforce into the narrative, most of which are repurposed as new events occurring concurrently with the storyline. Footage from "God Ginrai - Into the Sky!!" and "God Ginrai - Showdown on the Surface of the Moon" is used to represent Metalhawk and his Autobot team communicating with Star Saber at different points during the events of the episode (the instrumental version of the Masterforce closing theme tune, "Moero! Transformer", is even used as background music at one point) while somewhat more inexplicably, scenes of destruction from "The Dormant Volcano Mysteriously Erupts" are featured alongside all the other devastation caused by Deathsaurus's fortress's meteor bombs. Yet more clips from both series are used to form a montage of past leaders that Star Saber envisions as he struggles to regain consciousness after being blasted by the fortress; Optimus Prime's death from "Four Warriors Come out of the Sky", Hot Rod becoming Rodimus Prime again from "Birth of the Fantastic Double Prime", Fortress Maximus's transformation stock footage (first seen in "Head On!! Fortress Maximus") and Ginrai combining with Godbomber and blasting into space from "God Ginrai - Into the Sky!!"
- Like the other home-video clip shows from The Headmasters and Super-God Masterforce, it was not included on either the Metrodome or Madman Entertainment DVD collections of the series.
