Magi is a Decepticon Mini-Con from the Prime portion of the Aligned continuity family.

Isn't he mentioned in the Bible or something?

Magi (マギ) is the Arms Micron partner of Silas Breakdown. Faster than the blink of an eye. Nothing up his sleeves, abracadabra, alakazam!

Part of the eighth wave of TakaraTomy Prime toys, Magi is available only with his larger partner, Silas Breakdown. He comes as an unassembled, unpainted "kit", using stickers for detail, and transforms from a robotic praying mantis to a dual-bladed weapon. Magi is covered in 5mm posts and holes as part of the Arms Micron gimmick, allowing him to combine with other Microns to form bigger and more ridiculous "Combo Weapons" and "Super Combo Weapons".

This mold was used to make Shou and Timelines Scalpel.

Notes

• Magi's name is a shortening of kamakiri (カマキリ), the Japanese word for mantis, with the second consonant changed to a voiced form.
• One has to wonder how a human got hold of an Arms Micron. Well, Silas did use Breakdown as a new body, but still...
• With him being a praying mantis magician and all, he miiight be inspired by Manny from the Pixar film A Bug's Life. Maybe.
