Talk:The Transformers (Theme)

I don't think this song says "Unicorn". Was there a lyrics sheet that said that? It sounds more like "Unicron" to me, and that's much more fitting. Then again, depending on how you hear it, it can actually sound like either one. --NCZ 07:27, 20 April 2010 (EDT)
- I used to think he said "Unicron", because that's what I was expecting to hear, but listening to the 20th Anniversary CD with decent headphones I definitely hear "Unicorn". - Magnus Maximus 07:36, 20 April 2010 (EDT)
- See, I really don't believe it says "Unicorn" either. He just yowls out "Unicwwwwn" and one only hears "Unicorn" if one is listening for it. -- Chris McFeely 08:38, 20 April 2010 (EDT)
- Or maybe one only hears "Unicron" because one is expecting to hear it. It's a word that's easily mis-read/mis-typed if you're not familiar with it (I've certainly mistaken the word "Unicorn" as "Unicron" more than a few times). At best, he says "Unicon", but there's an unmistakable lack of a "cr" sound in there. As I said, a couple of years ago I would've agreed with you, but nice clean remaster + good cans = horny horse in my ears. - Magnus Maximus 09:04, 20 April 2010 (EDT)
- Throw in another vote for "Unicon", I've never been able to pick out an "r" sound at all (either before or after the "o"). Khajidha 10:10, 20 April 2010 (EDT)
- To be completely honest, it actually sounds like all of the above to me, though it's most likely they intended to say "Unicron" and the delivery is what's causing the confusion. --NCZ 21:26, 20 April 2010 (EDT)

- We used to have lyrics, but it was pointed out that posting them in their whole is a copyright violation. --NCZ 15:39, 29 May 2011 (EDT)
