Transformers: Reversal of Fortune is the fourth graphic novel collection of the comic strips published in Titan Books' monthly UK Transformers magazine. Following on from the Transformers Adventures series of collections, which ended one volume short of reprinting the entirety of the magazine's first volume, Reversal of Fortune jumps straight to the second volume, collecting the comic's eight-part prequel to the Revenge of the Fallen feature film, centred on the antics of Skids and Mudflap.

Still hanging out on the ruined Cybertron, Skids and Mudflap discover that Starscream is mobilizing the Decepticons at the behest of a hidden master. Remembering the message sent by Optimus Prime, they head for Earth to warn the Autobots there, only to find that their reputation has preceded them: the other Autobots don't have any faith in the two hyperactive bumblers, and won't let them get near Prime to deliver their warning. A few unfortunate coincidences later, and the Twins even find themselves under suspicion of being Decepticon agents! With no help on the home front, the Twins take matters into their own hands, and venture into the heart of the Decepticon camp itself, trying to learn what the villains are searching for on Earth...
