Goldpan Pete is a holographic human from the Rescue Bots Academy portion of the Aligned continuity family.

Goldpan Pete is an Old West prospector with some ideas about using dynamite to find gold. Fortunately he's only a simulated human, part of a gold mining simulation created by Blades.

Blades created the gold mining sim when Hoist won stage five of the Search-a-thon and was allowed to pick the type of sim they'd have next. As they started the sim, Goldpan Pete instructed the recruits on the finer points of panning for gold, though Blades objected to his use of dynamite. The recruits split up for the search for gold, during which Pete detonated some dynamite and caused a rock slide, ending up with his right leg trapped. The recruits eventually found and freed him, and he danced a jig to demonstrate his leg was fine. All that Glitters
