Ravil Isyanov (August 20, 1962 - September 29, 2021) was an actor born in Voskresensk, Moscow Oblast, USSR. In the late '80s, he was part of a cultural exchange with Britain where he performed on television and in the theatre, and remained there after the Soviet Union collapsed. He later emigrated to the United States and has successfully eked out a career in television there, appearing in high profile shows such as Fringe, 24, Bones, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and The Mentalist. In September 2021, he passed away after a long battle with cancer.[1][2]
