• In a 2018 interview with Kori Anders for Women Write About Comics, Stevens stated that in regards to consulting for Lost Light "...I dunno how many folks will know my name for my contributions, and that’s okay. If what I did ends up helping people figure out things about themselves, or just see themselves represented in a story they love, then my job’s accomplished. People deserve to see themselves in stories and feel happy and safe to be themselves." She also noted that it helped that Anode and Lug are trans lesbians, in that she could draw directly from her own experiences to make consultant suggestions.
• Stevens first got into Transformers with Beast Wars, following various shows and comics after over the years.
