Additional versions
[edit]Hmm, my NZ-store bought copy appears to have an alternate cut! It has no footage from Armada at all - even the many bodies of Hot Shot image shows images of Hot Shot's Energon and Cybertron bodies only. Like the US version, it only has the English soundtrack, and it has the gallery of Classic toys. --abates 00:08, 16 November 2009 (EST)
- Huh. That would certainly explain why the page originally said there was no Armada footage in it; as far as I could tell by the history, the people who edited the page to that effect were Australians or New Zealanders. This should definitely be noted somewhere... I still need to add the rest of the standard episode subheaders, too.
- I think I'm going to stick the "reused footage" section at the end of the article, because it's just going to get longer, and that's going to obscure the rest of the info. --Monzo 01:18, 16 November 2009 (EST)
Credits
[edit]I want to add these under the video box cover, but I don't know whether all these titles are available as part of our template system, and I've had bad luck trying to edit the template in the past, so... if someone could add these, that'd be great.

Those are the only credits directly related to The Ultimate Battle; the rest of the credit sequence is just the Energon, Armada, and Cybertron end credits (in that order!), sped up. --Monzo 02:56, 16 November 2009 (EST)
Versus
[edit]Why is "VS" in capitals like that? It should be "Vs" (or maybe "Vs.") because it's a contraction, not an acronym. - Magnus Maximus 17:50, 24 November 2009 (EST)
Not a DVD? WTF?
[edit]"Its actaully not a DVD, and only works on computers"
Uh, it IS a DVD and it works just fine on 2 of my regular DVD players (A samsung one and a car mounted one from WalMart.) I thought I'd ask about this before changing the article lede. -- G1MarvelBlaster 16:52, 13 August 2010 (EDT)
- Works just fine on my DVD player as well. --Khajidha 18:55, 13 August 2010 (EDT)
Armada footage
[edit]Okay, I need some context here. I just watched this whole thing on YouTube and not once was there any footage of Armada being shown in any part of this video. Only Cybertron and Energon footage. Even the Hot Shot body comparison was different, not only lacking his Armada body but the images of his Energon and Cybertron bodies differed from we see in this image. Could someone check this out and clue me in on what the deal is with the use/lack of use of Armada footage? Here's the video split across three parts. - I got curious about this, and the only clips I can find on YouTube are Armada-free, including foreign language uploads. I'm led to believe the version with Armada footage must've been US-only, but no one seems to have uploaded it anywhere for me to verify. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 16:23, 15 July 2019 (EDT)
'Animation or Technical Glitches' Section
[edit]Listing that Cybertron Red Alert isn't strictly a car as an animation/ technical error strikes me as a bit pedantic. His page even calls his first toy's vehicle mode a car, basically interchangably with 'SUV' or 'Emergency vehicle' or what have you. Could we maybe move this to the trivia section instead? We get plenty of people on here listing pointless trivia as important facts already so I'm just concerned about the example it sets. The trivia section's tone is already jokey nitpicking in the same vein like 'why are swords better than plasma cannons', it's just not up above with actual goofs.Spacebridge Technician (talk) 20:37, 12 January 2022 (EST)
