Talk:Autobot Cars
Uh...what? -- SFH 00:08, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
- ...yeah, my thoughts exactly. I'm sure the group of larger 1984-5 guys WERE propably officially called this as a group at some point but I don't think it needs a page, and definately not one like this...--71.235.142.128 00:11, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
Tell me what wrong with it?
- I think the page should exist, since it is a proper subgroup, but "most of the Autobots are in this group"? I think that's kind of not true. A lot. --ItsWalky 02:06, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
Then instead of deleting it how 'bout editing it? Although I do know what Autobots are in the sub group so I'll get there eventually. I'll do it right now if you want? there are thousands of lists that say what characters are in it so I know I'll get that correct.
Just please don't delete this. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
I am working my butt off to pt this together just edit it for god's sake if it is in bad quality.
- This was a fine request. --ItsWalky 02:31, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
You know what fine!!! Even if it does get deleted I'm going to just do it again.
- This was not. --ItsWalky 02:31, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
OK. I'm not going to freak if you keep this off the article. But there are more transformers in the subgroup than just the generation 1 guys. there are also guys like Robots in disguise characters. just answer me and tell me if I should put those guys in this article. But I think I should. 76.253.95.147 a.k.a. creator of this article
- If this distinction reaches across continuities, how do you define who goes in it?--Rosicrucian 23:36, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- I have a list copied off the internet of all members from all different continuities and their jobs. we could divide it up for every continuity. But just tell me if I should put the rest of the characters.
- You have a list... off of the internet? And why should we treat this list as reliable?--Rosicrucian 23:47, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- Well because it is off multiple sites and one site actually has a member who knows about almost everything transformers
- So let me get this straight, the requirements for being an "Autobot Car" are:
- Be an Autobot
- Be a car.
- Because if that's correct, that's nearly all of them.--Rosicrucian 23:59, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
- No they have to not be mini vehicles like Bumblebee Brawn or Huffer and actually there are very few in the Robots in Disguise series but I know what characters go in so just give me a straight answer. yes or no.
- The bottom line is that you are telling us these go in because you say they go in, without any reliable source to show why. So why should we?--Rosicrucian 00:13, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

"Autobot Cars" were nothing more than a 'subgroup' sold by the catalogs from 1984 through 1986. As such, they could warrant their own 'division' as a relatively harmless descriptor (like 'Decepticon Jets', or 'Autobot Minibots', though they were never in any subgroup other than plain ol' 'Autobot' in any fiction. --[[User:Vanguard|Vanguard] - who keeps forgetting the sign-off shorthand.
