Bluestreak is armed with an ion-charge disperser rifle, though he sometimes refers to it as an ion-dispenser rifle, so whether it it disperses or dispenses ions is a matter of conjecture.

Bluestreak's ion-charge disperser rifle electrifies a line of particles in the air in the direction in which it is pointed. While its accuracy is limited, it can shoot an electrified particle beam that resembles blue lightning a distance of 12 miles and is capable of punching a 10 foot hole in a cinder-block wall. On a mission to protect Buster Witwicky, Bluestreak and Bumblebee were surprised by an attack from Laserbeak, though Bluestreak quickly recovered and took down the Decepticon with a metal-seeking silvery-blue burst of electricity from his ion-dispenser rifle. Brainstorm!
Notes
- Bluestreak's weapon went unnamed in the bio accompanying his Tech Specs, which merely notes that he "fires bombs up to 8.3 miles and lightning-like 80,000 volt beam up to 12 miles of limited accuracy", while his instructions generically label it a "laser gun".
