Ironwolves are mechanical creatures who hail from the planet Pferra. Armed with fearsome teeth and protected by a tough metal hide, a pack of ironwolves can easily bring down a Maximal or Predacon.

For as-yet unclear reasons, the Vok relocated a pack of ironwolves to another planet as part of their long-term expeirments. Upon discovering Skold and the newborn Razorbeast, Pakak, curious to test the limits of Cybertronian factionalism, organized an experiment where he pitted the two Cybertronians against the ironwolves. With numbers on their side, the wolves quickly dragged Razorbeast down, but before they could tear him apart Skold used her formidable strength to kill the rest. Thicker Skin
