Afterburner's a big ball of rage and irritation looking for an excuse to blow someone's head off. Any Decepticon dumb enough to give him one will be at the mercy of his plasma pulse cannon. Perrenial loser Broadside uses a plasma-pulse gun, which more than likely works the same way as Afterburner's plasma pulse cannon, only with more griping.
