Fracture discovers some new Mini-Cons.
Synopsis
[edit]Fracture comes upon a stasis pod, and orders Airazor and Divebomb to open it. But from the pod emerges not a Decepticon, but a Mini-Con, speaking gibberish and fawning over the rocks strewn about nearby. Fracture's own Mini-Cons explain that though many of their kind are allied with either Decepticons or Autobots, Cyclones such as this one are unaligned. Despite warnings from his small companions that Cyclones are unpredictable, Fracture is determined to have the new Mini-Con swear allegiance to him. Then, a second Cyclone emerges from the pod, and both of them attack Fracture before taking off. Enraged, Fracture swears to himself that the Cyclones will be his.

Notes
[edit]Continuity notes
[edit]- When this short first went live, just when it happened was up in the air, with some fans speculating it was a second-season teaser (with Fracture having escaped imprisonment). However, the first episode of season 2, "Overloaded, Part 1", directly referenced the recapturing of the Cyclones introduced here, so now this story has to take place in season 1, some time before "Battlegrounds, Part 1".
Real-world references
[edit]- Ransack and Backtrack's beatdown on Fracture is to the tune of "Shave And A Haircut, Two Bits".
