Scavengers (RID)

This article is about a character or concept that lacks a name, but has an official term or designation. |
| The name or term "Scavenger" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Scavenger (disambiguation). |

They say that one man's trash is another man's treasure, but if the "Scavengers" come calling then they'll probably take your treasure and trash you. This scuzzy Decepticon crew makes a living stealing—ahem, salvaging the Autobot relics and technology left over from the Great War, and to them Earth is a treasure trove just waiting to be exploited. Under Clawtrap's tight-fisted leadership, there's no trick too dirty or move too underhanded when it comes to defending their findings from their foes.
Recently, they've struck up a partnership with a group of strange "Weaponizer" Mini-Cons, although the slightly more altruistic Mini-Cons view this as a partnership of convenience, not particularly happy about working with a gang of violent Decepticons.
The Scavengers include:
- Clawtrap (leader)
- Paralon
- Thermidor
- Scatterspike

Robots in Disguise (2015)

- Paralon (Clash of the Transformers Warrior Class, 2016)
- Scatterspike (Warrior Class, 2016)
- Thermidor (Warrior Class, 2017)
- Three out of the four Scavengers were made available in the Robots in Disguise toyline, with Paralon released as a Toys"R"Us exclusive. All three toys feature 5 mm posts that allow them to wield their associated Mini-Cons, or any compatible weaponry.
Notes
- It is ambiguous as to whether "Scavenger" is an official group name or if the aforementioned bots are just scavengers, lowercase.
- Their name MIGHT be a reference to the Decepticon salvage gang of the same name from the IDW comics...but their M.O's are different and there's less of them here, so your mileage may vary.
