Standing next to Exhaust, Fumes was one of many Decepticons in the Kaon gladiator arena to witness Megatron's execution of the corrupt Emirate Xeon, signaling the beginning of their uprising. The War Within #2
Fumes and Exhaust were in Iacon when Starscream's botched mechaforming attempt leveled the city. They were both unprepared when Shockwave ordered troops to fall back to Kolkular rather than be destroyed. The War Within #6
Notes
- This character is a gray "virtual redeco" of a Diaclone toy that was never released as a Transformer. Rotorbolt and Skyklik are based on the same toy, but in the original blue deco.
- Despite never being released, a U.S. patent was filed for the toy on September 27, 1984... the same day as Blitzwing.
- Fumes did not have a name till 2015, when the Facebook edition of Ask Vector Prime gave him one.
