Sanjay Bharwaney, a mid-level researcher at Darkmatter Logic, aided Colonel Horiuchi's plan to control the Autobots by secretly using the company's technology to build control boards for the badges used to immobilize them. The Gift Horse Once Ratchet analyzed one of the badges, he found that a primary component was stabilized darmstadtium. Bumblebee investigated shipments of the element and found that Darkmatter Logic was a major recipient. The Impossible Knot Using this information, he tracked down the Darkmatter research and development site where Bharwaney worked and followed him home to steal his backup control board. The Gift Horse
