Blowback is a Mini-Con from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Blowbacks are known for taking it on the chin, so to speak. You really don't want to make a Blowback angry anyway, as the consequences for all present can be unfortunate indeed.

Transformers: Heavy Metal

The Mini-Cons were all brought to Earth from another dimension by Micronus Prime and could be found by humans in the Guardian Program equipped with an Autobot Scanner modified with Decepticon technology. Once located and recruited by paying them Energon, Blowbacks could be partnered with Autobots to give them new abilities. Transformers: Heavy Metal

Notes

• Abilities granted by Blowback include:
  • Boom — Deal 400 damage. You take 100 damage — Costs 2, higher ranks add 50 to the base damage.
  • Ricochet — Shuffle a Stun into your Loadout. When you deal damage, deal +100 damage. Scrap this ability — Costs 1, higher ranks add 25 to the damage value.
