In an attempt to have the High Council focus on Megatron, Optimus Prime pointed out that if a series of controlled detonations were set off, then Cybertron would slow enough that it could be picked up by Ursa Major's gravitational pull and avoid a grisly fate in the Stellae Cimeterium.
