Split

My biggest issue with a split is that HasTak treats the line as a single entity. Some of the Hasbro toys are sold in the Japanese market and the Takara toys are sold in the Western market. It's very different to Generations Japan where Takara didn't really know what they were doing with that set of toys until creating the Legends line. The brand-unification is also a big thing to think about too. Unlike the Japanese Generations line, all of the figures shared between the two markets are identical, even if the website listings like to give them different names and ID numbers. -- Fanofcoolstuff27 (talk) 17:53, 14 February 2022 (EST)

I really don't see the benefit of a split here, especially to a reader. It's not like the page is massive or unwieldy. All a split would do is introduce needless hoop-jumping for content that is incredibly similar because... pedantry? --M Sipher (talk) 19:39, 14 February 2022 (EST)

I see no reason for a split. --KilMichaelMcC (talk) 20:50, 14 February 2022 (EST)

Yeah, I don't see the point here? Both companies clearly consider both "toylines" to be the same. Generations Japan was split because it was part of a bunch of CHUG toylines on Takara's side and it was otherwise buried in the Hasbro toyline page that had entirely different coverage of toys. This is a very small page. Why is a split necessary? --ItsWalky (talk) 23:27, 14 February 2022 (EST)

No split is needed IMO, because the Japanese toyline is really just the US version delayed a little bit. It would really just be unnecessary.Dingdongdude (talk) 10:05, 9 April 2022 (EDT)
