Overview
Best of Grimlock pulls stories ranging from early US Marvel Comics issues, Marvel UK, Generation 2 and the then-current 2005 IDW continuity. The collection features new cover art by Klaus Scherwinski.

Notes
- Grimlock is Simon Furman's favorite character, so not surprisingly, all but one of the stories in this TPB was written by him.
- The Marvel issues are all set in the same continuity. Only Spotlight: Grimlock is in a separate continuity.
- Oddly, there is no story from Dreamwave Productions in this collection.
- For some reason, "The Wrath of Guardian!" is not separated in the appendix from "The Wrath of Grimlock!" Also, the numerical title was replaced by words in "The Four Million Year Itch!" and the exclamation points were removed from all of the early titles.
