The Firstforged are a group from the 2019 IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Firstforged are an ancient group of Transformers who, during the Age of the Firstforged, laid the foundations of Cybertronian society. Notable Firstforged include Solomus, Halonix Maximus, Big Bang, and Zarak Maximus.

Cybertronian legend states that, in the twilight of the Thirteen, Solus Prime created the Firstforged by using the Ur-Forge to unite sparks with the living metal of Cybertron. Transformers #43 The Firstforged, as they came to be known, soon spread across the planet.
