Lost in translation
- The English version of this episode inserts a new line into the opening sequence, which has Alpha Q state that Unicron has brought him back on-line, in order to stop Unicron from going offline. This was Hasbro's intention for the character, and it's how he is portrayed in the Dreamwave comic, but the Japanese production staff created an entirely different story for the character that would unfold as the series went on. As such, the line was not in the original Japanese version of the episode, and would be totally contradicted by later events in the show.
