Mark McCall is a former Hasbro designer. After studying industrial design at the University of Kansas from 1976 to 1981, he got a bachelor degree and went on to work for several companies such as Baugh Industrial Design Consultants, Rival Housewares, Buddy L Toys, Tonka, and Nylint Toy Corp. From 1999 to 2004, he worked for Hasbro, where he was responsible for designing the Alternators toys together with his Japanese colleague at Takara, Hironori Kobayashi. In 2004, McCall left Hasbro, and has worked for Toy State Marketing USA ever since 2006. He was succeeded as Hasbro's Alternators designer by Steve Bono.
