Shaoshao's gunning for Optimus Prime to rescue Marissa.
Synopsis
[edit]Shaoshao Li joined the Earth Defense Command with a vow to defeat the Transformers but now finds herself as part of the resistance, side by side with Hot Rod, himself a Transformer. She wonders how her past self would react to her current circumstances—what would she be like if she had never met a Transformer or Marissa? Maybe just having fun in Shibuya? Doubtful, she thinks.
Shaoshao thinks back to her encounter with Marissa and "that Optimus Prime" at her parent's Chinese restaurant in New York City. Henceforth, she swore to break Marissa away from Optimus and joined the EDC for that purpose, eventually being awakened as a Kiss Player. She never thought she would come to meet both in Japan... and Hot Rod as well. Believing their meeting was fated, Shaoshao takes it as an indicator that she can do something. When she verbally pokes at Hot Rod for a response, she gets irritated at the realization he wasn't listening the whole time.
