Chia-Chi Wang (born April 20, 1975[1] in Taipei, Taiwan) is a comic colorist. In the early '90s, he worked on a freelance basis for Marvel Comics, coloring on Transformers: Generation 2, Spider-Man, G.I. Joe, The Punisher, and Ren & Stimpy.[2] In the late '90s, he teamed up with fellow Marvel artist Benny Powell to form Bench Press Studios[3], which at one point planned to publish G.I. Joe and Transformers comics, but were unable to obtain the licences and the company went out of business.[4] He also created the comic Simpleton High, which he began publishing online around the time[5]. In 2010, he founded Excel Comics to publish comics for Amazon's Kindle reader.[6] Chia-Chi Wang was also active in the Transformers fandom, and for a number of years bigbot.com hosted an archive of his art. He currently lives in Orlando, Florida.
