File:File:///CE0EB9D0-F4DD-4F31-B0A2-83355F16F5FF.jpeg Blocksworld was a physics-based 3D sandbox video game developed by Linden Lab originally for the iPad on July 6, 2013. It was later released for the iPhone on 2016, and later, via Steam on September 25, 2017. As of 2020, Blocksworld is absent from Linden Lab's website (excluding previous press releases), and servers were fully shut down on June 17, 2020. It was subsequently removed from the App Store afterwards, and was later pulled from Steam on July 2, 2020. It also looks a bit like Virtual Lego.

Packs

In early 2014 Blocksworld received an update that introduced 2 packs that each included 2 “blocksters” (a stylized character model. )

Transformers Blocksters-Autobots

Based on the Generation 1 cartoon this pack included stylized renditions of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee to be used in the creations of user’s games. The pack was later removed for unspecified reasons.

Transformers Blocksters-Decepticons

Also based on the generation 1 cartoon this pack included stylized renditions of Megatron and Starscream. This pack was also removed later, likely for the same reason as it’s autobot themed component.

Notes

  • The game also included G.I. Joe themed packs which were not removed until after the Transformers packs
