• The word "cancelled" was not a fully accurate description of the end of the show's run, as its producers were able to determine the ending (admittedly because Ted Danson wanted to leave) as opposed to being terminated by the network.
• The "Swerve's" sequence from "The One Where They Go to Earth" is a reference to the series' opening.
• Kelsey Grammer played Frasier Craine on Cheers and later his spin-off Frasier. Other Transformers alumnus to make guest appearances on Cheers include Melendy Britt, Fred Dryer, Diedrich Bader, and Markie Post.
