Kup is a member of Remote Patrol Six and the Cybertron Elite Guard, and an Autobot commander of few words.

Kup, along with the rest of Remote Patrol Six, was scanning the Plait Expanse's radiation in an attempt to find a way to escape Cybertron. When Downshift was ordered to check out a strange signal that Sandstorm discovered, he was initially reluctant, but staring down the business end of Kup's blaster convinced him to change his mind and go. A while later, after Megatron was assassinated, Kup and the rest of Remote Patrol Six made their move. They converged on Optimus Prime's position, intending to kill Optimus and install Rodimus in his place as Prime. Unfortunately, Optimus was stronger and crazier than they allowed for, and he easily fought them back. As Optimus plowed through Remote Patrol Six, Kup's head was crushed by Optimus Prime's bare hands. Optimus remarked that he had thought better of Kup. Reunification: Part 5
