Angel Manuel Soto

Angel Manuel Soto (born January 28, 1983) is a Puerto Rican filmmaker. He launched his career with the award-winning short 22weeks, and has gone on to direct the films La Granja, Charm City Kings and soon to be, Blue Beetle for DC Comics and Warner Bros.

- Soto's motivation for making a film about Transformers dates back to his childhood in Puerto Rico, where his father bought him toys that he enjoyed growing up. Even his mother made a heartfelt message how far his dream of his came true.[1]
