This citation template allows you to cite various social media posts. The date is displayed in YYYY/MM/DD format.
Usage
Parameters
This template has seven main parameters:
- quote=The text of the comment
- link=The URL of the comment.
- name=The name/username of the person that made the comment.
- site=The name of the website on which the comment was made.
- title=The title of the post, episode, article, or other work in which the comment appears.
- year=The year the comment was made.
- month=The two digit numeric value of the month (i.e. 01 for January, 02 for February, etc.) the comment was made.
- day=The two digit day the comment was made.
If the link is dead and the page has not been archived, the "defunct" parameter can be used to mark it as such. If the original comment has been deleted and the link is going to a backup of the page on Archive.org, the text "(archive link) will be automatically appended.
