Whirl is cowardly security guard of the Throne of Pax alongside his fellow guard Sunstreaker. His obsession with Cybertronian law and enforcing it on his fellow Autobots has led him to be a frequent target of violence.

Whirl's visage was featured on a poster promoting "Empurata Justice" when Orion Pax met with Megatron after getting the latter out of jail. Shattered Glass #2
