- Shadowstrip is a Decepticon Stunticon from the Generation 2 portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Shadowstrip is a determined athlete who'll obliterate any obstacle in his path to victory, including other athletes.

- Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection "G2 Universe Shadowstrip" is a redeco of Legacy Drag Strip, done in the colors of the cancelled Generation 2 figure from 1994. The differences between the slated G2 release and Shadowstrip are the increased usage of gold paint, less usage of blue paint, and golden flag tampographs on his sides. Shadowstrip comes with two blasters, like his retail release. Despite not being called out in the instructions, Shadowstrip can still form Menasor's right arm.
- Though Shadowstrip's designer, Sam Smith, appears to consider him a new character, he acknowledged that the toy also simply works as the G2 version of Drag Strip.[1]
- The Velocitron Speedia 500 Collection was exclusive to Walmart in the US.
