Scrapheap thinks that his adventure is over, but really, his exciting new life is just beginning.
Synopsis
[edit]Things have returned to normal for the Autobots: Hot Rod has returned to being Rodimus Prime, and the energy drained from his body has been used to heal Kup. Of course, this prompts Kup to start telling a story about the last time he had a battle that strange, but before long, he's complimenting Scrapheap on his quick thinking in recovering the energy transfer device. Scrapheap laughs off the praise, saying that he would have died on the ship if not for Hot Rod and Kup, and that the whole experience made him realize his limitations as a warrior. Kup tells him that everyone's got something they're good at, but Scrapheap claims he's not a hero like the two Autobots, which only leads Rodimus Prime to laugh and explain that you don't choose to be a hero: an adventure can creep up on you at any time, and the type of person you are defines what you'll do in that situation. Scrapheap is a bit puzzled, so Kup simplifies it for him: he's the hero of this adventure! Overjoyed that his talents are recognized at last and that his long-hoped-for moment of greatness has finally come, Scrapheap accepts Rodimus's offer to join the Autobots, and search the universe for its hidden treasures.
Thus ends the story of "Macrocosmic Seekers"... at which point Kup butts in to tell the narrative voice that it should have told the tale more humbly, and that he was present for both the birth of Rodimus Prime as leader and Scrapheap as an Autobot. And that reminds him, when he was a young warrior...
And so the adventure continues... to the future, and beyond!
