Martian

The Martians really really want to invade Earth. They have all their weapons of war ready—flying saucers, disintegrator rays, giant ants and giant robots. The only problem is that Earth already has giant robots in the form of the Autobots and Decepticons. Luckily, like the humans, the Transformers have stupid minds and will be easy for the superior forces of Mars to defeat.
Fiction
[edit]A Message From Outer Space
[edit]After Megatron and his Decepticons hijacked the Ark, Optimus Prime sent a fake message to them as if written by Martian invaders preparing to destroy the Autobot ship. Upon receiving the message, Decepticons fled the ship and subsequently got ambushed by the Autobots waiting outside. A Message From Outer Space
Mars Attacks: The Transformers
[edit]Having waited patiently for one of the other of the two Transformer factions to triumph, the Martians finally had their moment to invade and soon their forces were marching through the city. The Decepticons managed to free themselves, and Megatron approached the Martian leader with a deal to team up and destroy the Autobots. The Martian leader agreed, but as soon as the Decepticons engaged the Autobots, the Martians enclosed both factions in a force field. When the two factions promptly teamed up and brought down the force field, the Martian leader calmly zapped the ranting Megatron with a shrink ray. The leader demanded both sides bow to the Martians' superior power, but was cut off when the shrunken Megatron shot him through the head. The Transformers proceeded to trash the Martian forces on the ground, and when the Martians tried to counterattack with their saucers, Cosmos revealed himself in their midst and started blasting them. The remaining Martians fled. Mars Attacks: The Transformers
Notes
[edit]- The Martians themselves were voiced by Frank Welker in the film adaptation of Mars Attacks from 1996.
