The Autobots leaked information to Starscream that they had discovered a crashed Cybertronian spaceship on Table Mountain containing the necessary star charts to lead them back to Cybertron. After battling the Decepticons outside the spaceship Optimus Prime called a retreat, allowing Megatron's troops to seize control of the spherical craft. It was only then that the Autobots revealed that the spaceship was in fact a trap, sealing the Decepticons inside and blasting them into space. Day of the Decepticons
