Buzz Weekend
Buzz Weekend was an event held at Universal CityWalk in promotion for the then upcoming film Bumblebee. Starting on October 13th 2018, The event opened up with Jorge Lendeborg Jr. who plays Memo in the film, welcoming the audience on Universal’s 5 Towers Stage and briefly discussing his experience working on the film before debuting a new trailer<ref>Bumblebee 'Buzz Weekend' is underway at Universal Studios Hollywood</ref>. After this, visitors were encouraged to participate in fun and wacky activities such as...
- Bumblebee’s ‘80s Dance Party!
An '80s themed dance party in which participants who show off their best dance moves get the chance to receive merchandise for the film.
- Looking at the latest merchandise!
- Taking green screen photos with Bumblebee(wow)!
- Looking at Transformers content on the CityWalk big screen!
- Getting airbrushed tattoos!<ref>Celebrate 'Bumblebee' during Buzz Weekend at Universal CityWalk</ref>
The event would run from 12 - 4 PM and conclude the following day.
Notes
- As well as kicking off the event Jorge Lendeborg Jr. also particpated in Bumblebee’s ‘80s Dance Party.
- Unfortunately, because this event has long since ended, you can no longer participate in Bumblebee’s ‘80s Dance Party... as well as all the other activities.
