Ranger is an Autobot Godmaster in the Masterforce portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Ranger is a ground defense warrior and is armed with a napalm blaster. In buggy mode, he can take on any road, no matter how rough, while still keeping his cool. He can also drive underground as a subterranean investigation vehicle.

Loves Earth's nature, and is well-learned in subjects such as geology and history. He is not afraid of everyday things, though he does not like insects, especially cockroaches.

Ranger lives in a log cabin and works as a park... ranger... in Canada before meeting the Autobots and finding out that he is the third Godmaster. During an ambush by the Darwings he merges with his transtector and joins the team.

He doesn't do very much after that.

Zone OAV

Ranger was seen among other high-ranking Autobots (such as Road Caesar, Landcross, Grand Maximus, Lander, and the other Autobot Godmasters) when Dai Atlas is sworn-in by Victory Saber as the new Supreme Commander of the Autobot forces.

Ranger is a redeco of the Autobot Powermaster Joyride. He transforms into a pale green and red dune buggy. His Godmaster engine component- also caller Ranger- is a redecoed version of Hotwire, sporting turquiose arms and legs, as opposed to Hotwire's blue limbs. Ranger also includes a dark gray version of Joyride's white photon blaster.
