Bob Harras

Bob Harras (born January 11, 1959) is an American comic book writer and editor who co-edited Marvel's G.I. Joe and the Transformers crossover alongside Don Daley. He was Ralph Macchio's assistant editor at one point, and at one point Daryl Edelman was his assistant editor. At the time he was the editor of the regular G.I. Joe titles, and after a stint as editor for Marvel's "X-Men" title during the early 1990s he eventually rose to the position of Marvel editor-in-chief, a position he held for five years until leaving for DC Comics in 2000. He later served as editor-in-chief at DC from 2010–2020.
