A longtime Transformers fan, Venable was known for roles such as Shisami in Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection "F" & Dragon Ball Super, Gaki in Hunter × Hunter: The Last Mission, Scratchmen Apoo in One Piece, Bryo in Fairy Tail, Griffon in Devil May Cry 5, and the voice of Honest Game Trailers.
Venable died at the age of 43 of a heart attack.
