2005 IDW continuity

After first contact between Cybertron and Caminus–consisting of the Decepticon combiner Menasor's rampaging across Caminus and being stopped by Superion–Cityspeaker Windblade called a meeting of the Forgefire Parliament so that elected leader of Cybertron Starscream could arrange to put right the trouble his world caused (unbeknownst to everyone, Starscream himself had orchestrated Menasor's rampage so that a Cybertronian could save the day). Meanwhile, Windblade met with Optimus Prime to discuss Starscream's political ambitions. Windblade explained that Camien society was dominated by their religion, the Way of Flame, which deified Primus and the Thirteen Primes. Resolving to limit Starscream's influence on the colonies, Optimus Prime reluctantly decided to take advantage of his "divinity". He and Windblade stepped through Metroplex's spacebridge to the Parliament chamber, with Windblade giving Optimus Prime a grandiose introduction. At the request of the Mistress of Flame, Prime displayed the Matrix of Leadership, proof of his divinity. Starscream could only look on in silent outrage as the Camiens present bowed before the living Prime. The Sum and Its Parts

Later, Prowl and the Constructicons returned to Cybertron from Earth to forcibly sever contact between Cybertron and the colonies as Prowl did not want Starscream to expand his empire. They formed Devastator, who subsequently tried to destroy Caminus's spacebridge but was stopped by Superion and new Autobot combiner Defensor. Afterwards, the Camien leaders requested that Starscream station one of his combiners on Caminus as a security measure for the duration of negotiations to form the Council of Worlds. Swift left the Forgefire Parliament to join the Dinobots, though officially she was believed to have been kidnapped by the team.
