- Kindle is an Autobot from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Kindle serves as security aboard the Lost Light.

[edit]Ultra Magnus assigned Kindle and Fervor to guard the Lost Light's shuttle bay when he learnt Froid was keeping Sunder, also known as the "Tetrahex Ripper", prisoner aboard his ship. When Rung returned Froid to the shuttle bay to see him off, they called it in to Magnus. Speak, Memory: Part 1
Fervor and Kindle tried to stop Sunder from hurting Rung and Skids. Unfortunately for them, a quick glance from Sunder and they were forced to rip themselves inside out.
They were presumably fixed after the adventure. Speak, Memory! (Part 2)
Notes
[edit]- Though never stated in the comics, James Roberts stated on Twitter that Fervor and Kindle are Pyrobots.[1]
- Line artist Hayato Sakamoto envisioned Kindle with a ground vehicle alt-mode. Sakamoto also sketched Kindle in orange and Fervor in red, but colorist Joana Lafuente switched this setup in the final issue.[2]
