During the Great War between the Maximals and Predacons, a Decepticon army served with the Predacons, united in their shared goal of defeating the combined Maximals/Autobot forces. Over time, however, the Autobots and Maximals began to overwhelm the Decepticon/Predacon Alliance. Notes

• The existence of this alliance was only ever mentioned by name in the BotCon 2005 toy bio for Deathsaurus, in reference to historical events that wouldn't be elaborated on until "The Razor's Edge" revealed that there had been a Great War fought between the Maximals and Predacons, in which both sides had also been supported by the Autobots and Decepticons, respectively. Deathsaurus being recreated centuries after his defeat by Star Saber (in reference to their climactic final battle in the Victory episode "Showdown! The Fortress vs the Victory Unification") placed these events after the Great War between the Autobots and Decepticons.
• At first glance, the bio card for BotCon 2005 Flamewar seems to also mention this alliance, noting it as Flamewar's factional affiliation (in contrast to those of the other BotCon 2005 bio cards being "Heroic Autobot" or "Evil Decepticon"). However, Flamewar's card does not actually say "Decepticon/Predacon Alliance" (as written in the profile text for Deathsaurus's bio), but rather "Decepticon / Predacon Alliance", with spaces. This denotes that she is doubly affiliated with both the Decepticon faction and the Predacon Alliance, as is both described in her bio's profile text and shown in her depiction in "Descent into Evil", neither of which make any mention of the "Decepticon/Predacon Alliance" from in Deathsaurus's bio.
