Opabinia

Far from the surface world, the strange opabinia dwell in the depths of the Argon Sea. They seem to feed off energy using their proboscises.

[edit]While pursuing the abducted Windblade, Bumblebee and Chromia found their shuttle attacked by a group of opabinia. After draining the shuttle's shields, the opabinia appeared to lose interest, or were driven off by the incoming attack by the larger Hammerbyte. Dweller In The Depths

[edit]- The opabinia is based on its terrestrial namesake from the Cambrian Period, Opabinia regalis.
- The name of these creatures was never given on screen, but was given in a tweet by Randolph Heard.[1]
