Established in 2006 by industry veteran Sébastien Moreau, Rodeo FX is a Canadian VFX studio based in Montreal, Quebec. The studio's credits include The Goldan Compass, the 2008 Death Race remake, The Boys, Deadpool, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Fear Street, Love, Death & Robots, and several productions in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The studio regularly assists Industrial Light & Magic on projects, which include Terminator: Salvation, Rango, Warcraft, and Pacific Rim. As part of this partnership, Rodeo would handle some of the visual effects for Bumblebee. Handling the sequences of Bumblebee and Charlie in the garage, Bumblebee's "prank" on Tina's car, and the final scene of Bumblebee and Charlie overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge.
