Talk:Doctor

I demand this be moved to "Doctor (Who)" --FortMax 20:25, 8 October 2009 (EDT)

-Works for me. External properties shouldn't get disambiguated by the TF franchise they crossover with. --Khajidha 15:20, 2 September 2010 (EDT)
-I agree. This is inconsistent with our other external property pages and it's kinda ridiculous. And not in a good way. ---Blackout- 16:03, 2 September 2010 (EDT)
- This isn't a page about external properties, this is a page about the Doctor that's mentionned in pages of a Generation 1 comic. --Detour 16:14, 2 September 2010 (EDT)
- Said Doctor being an external property. Or has Hasbro bought the BBC?--Khajidha 16:29, 2 September 2010 (EDT)
- I think the point is (Who) as a disambiguation, cute though that may be, has no basis in Transformers. --71.234.192.28 16:31, 2 September 2010 (EDT)
- I can see the logic of your point entirely and I'm completely in agreement with you...but as a Who fanboy, I'd love it if we made an exception :) --Emvee 16:37, 2 September 2010 (EDT)
- I just think that franchise disambiguations should be reserved for actual TF characters. For example, if a new G1 universe character called "the Doctor" it could not be called Doctor (G1). --Khajidha 16:52, 2 September 2010 (EDT)
- We do not do disambiguations based on hypothetical situations. —Interrobang 16:53, 2 September 2010 (EDT)
- So why is it Tomahawk (G.I. Joe) and not "Tomahawk (G1)"? --Khajidha 16:59, 2 September 2010 (EDT)
- Because the guy who moved that page didn't do it right. --Detour 17:02, 2 September 2010 (EDT)
- Also, G.I. Joe is a thing documented to exist within Transformers. --KilMichaelMcC 18:09, 2 September 2010 (EDT)

As a second look at this, would it not be possible to move this to Doctor with a note that "Doctor redirects here, for the little torturous Decepticon from ROTF see Scalpel"? That would be a graceful way to remove the confusing parentheses and maintain wiki order, no? --Emvee 18:37, 7 September 2010 (EDT)

Change redirect
...Why doesn't the redirect for "Doctor" link to the actual Transformers character, as opposed to the crossover cameo, or even the disambiguation page? Kurisu (talk) 00:44, 10 March 2023 (EST)
