Cloudcover is a Decepticon Seeker from the Generation 2 portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Cloudcover is a Decepticon jet who unleashes a storm of toxic destruction! He's emerged from Cybertron's Toxic Sludge Swamps along with the rest of Toxitron's team of radioactive warriors. He's a toxic... crusader, if you will.

Checkerboard nightmare.

• ???? (Decepticon Jet, 199?)

• A hand-painted mock-up of the original Ramjet in "cloud camo" deco was known to exist for years. Whether it was ever meant to be taken into production and whether it was meant to be Ramjet or a new character remains unknown. It was originally offered for sale in October of 2000 from Whiz Bang Collectibles, along with other items seemingly from a former Hasbro employee's collection. Possibly, "cloud camo Ramjet" would have been paired for release alongside "jungle attack Starscream".

Legacy

G2 Universe Cloudcover (Walmart exclusive, 2023)

A Toxitron Collection add-on to Legacy Evolution, "G2 Universe Cloudcover" is a redeco of Ramjet, transforming into a modified F-15 fighter jet with cranked-arrow delta wings based on the F-16XL prototype. He is now cast in a checkerboard blue color scheme based on the unreleased G2 figure. As one of the Coneheads, Cloudcover features a new headsculpt based on the original Conehead design, though it is a faux piece not formed from the actual nosecone. He, along with the rest of the Toxitron Collection, were exclusive to Walmart and available on Hasbro Pulse in limited quantities.

The figure's design and transformation scheme are heavily based on the 2006 Classics Starscream mold (and its subsequent retool of Ramjet), while adding points of articulation the earlier figure did not have such as pivoting ankles, a more expressive ball-jointed head, and hinges that allow the wings to fold backwards on his legs in robot mode.
